Submit an Article

We welcome article submissions to appear on SearchEngineSpy. Appropriate articles will be published on our site and distributed via our newsletter. Please send articles to editor@makemetop.co.uk, clearly marking them "ARTICLE". When submitting, please consider the following points

1) Articles should be related to the search engine and directory industry, and can be directed at web masters or the general public. Topics might include

Search engine optimisation advice
Optimisation issues with Flash, XML and other new technologies
Paid submission advice
Pay-per-click explained
Recent search engine news
Search engine reviews
Tips for better searching

2) The article should not be a blatant advert.

3) We invite you write a brief description of yourself and/or business to appear at the end of the article, along with a link to your website. You may also include a photograph of yourself or a company logo.

4) We do not require the articles to be exclusive. You may submit an article elsewhere that has appeared on searchenginespy.

5) By submitting an article you are agreeing to the following:

Content

By submitting an article for publication to SearchEngineSpy (the "Site"), you represent that you have the full right to send us the article content and that sending us this Content for publication will not violate or infringe the rights of any third person, including but not limited to, rights in copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights. You also represent and understand that you are not receiving any compensation from the Site for the Content you are submitting. You further understand that submission of any Content to the Site does not in any way guarantee the Content will appear on the Site. If such Content is not published, the Site will return the Content to you, at your written request.

The Site may delete the Content at any time, without any notice to you.

You represent and warrant to Microchannel Technologies Ltd that:

You are the sole author of the Content and have the full power and authority, free of any rights of any nature whatsoever by any other person, to enter into this Agreement and to grant the rights, which are being granted by this Agreement.

The Content does not and if published on the Site, will not infringe upon any copyright or any proprietary right at common law or otherwise.

The Content is based on true facts and diligent research.

You must:

Make certain any links within the Content are active and working, obtain any necessary approvals from that company or entity, and make certain that such linking does not violate any copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights.

Not make any statement that you know, or should have reason to know is untruthful and/or unlawful.

Not submit any Content that is defamatory, libellous, obscene, in violation of any law, or contains any viruses, "worms", "trojan horses" or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;

Disclose your true identity and not impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a government official, security industry representative, or investment professional, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with such a person or entity;

Not forge e-mail headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any Content transmitted to the Site;

Not upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Microchannel Technologies Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third party information providers to the Site from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting the Content from any violation of this Agreement (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the Site.
